Growing up in southern California, Angela is no stranger to an active lifestyle. After seventeen years of competitive swimming, she was looking for new physical activities to engage her body and mind. Through friends, she started taking yoga classes in Los Angeles in 2008. Although, her love of yoga was not instant. After years of overworking muscles, she found growth and engagement studying under Gilbert Naungayan of Kaya Yoga Remedy. During her time at Kaya, her physical practice blossomed as did her interest in the power of the mind and a cleaner, more holistic life. In 2015, Angela left her corporate job and completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training with Kaya Yoga Remedy and began teaching yoga classes shortly after. Whether you are brand new to yoga or looking to expand on your knowledge base, Angela will guide you with an easy spirit and detailed verbal cues.
